Every year, Portland-based record label, Tender Loving Empire, releases a compilation of songs written by talented musicians connected to the label. After years of a similarly organic and earthly look and feel, they were looking to create a daring new aesthetic.

We brought them beyond the traditional confines of CD case and out of our of the earthly realm in creating pop-up animated galaxy packaging with two layers of interactivity: slit scan animation on both the front and on discs themselves as well as a custom pop-up die cut inside the package.
